WMD Guns Shipping Policy

General Firearms Shipping Rules

  • No Direct-to-Consumer Delivery: Under federal law, we cannot ship firearms directly to your billing or standard shipping address.
  • FFL Requirement: All firearm orders must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder.
  • Checkout Process: You must select a verified FFL dealer during checkout using our integrated FFL locator map tool. If your preferred dealer is not listed, choose “On-Hold / Manual FFL Submission” and have your dealer email a copy of their license to customerservice@wmdguns.com with your Order Number and customer name in the subject line.
  • Order Processing Time: Firearms ship after payment clearance and verification of the receiving dealer’s FFL, and subject to availability.

Delivery and Signature Requirements

  • Adult Signature Required: All firearm deliveries require an adult signature (21+) upon arrival at your chosen FFL dealer.
  • Carrier Compliance: We ship firearms exclusively through approved commercial contract carriers requiring specialized account agreements, such as UPS or FedEx priority services.
  • Discreet Packaging: In accordance with federal guidelines and carrier rules, outer packaging contains no markings, labels, or indicators that the contents include a firearm.

Ammunition Shipping

  • Separate Shipment: Ammunition must always be shipped separately from firearms. It cannot be packed or boxed in the same container as a firearm.
  • Hazardous Materials: Ammunition is classified as regulated hazardous material / restricted goods and incurs specific ground shipping rates. We do not ship ammunition to Post Office (PO) boxes, or to international destinations.

State and Local Restrictions

  • WMD Guns follows all state and local restrictions that may apply to the products purchased. We will block the sale of restricted firearms, high-capacity magazines, or ammunition to prohibited zip codes and states.
  • Customer Responsibility: If a restricted item bypasses a digital filter due to a dynamic change in local law, your order will be manually canceled. Please check your local laws before placing an order.

Damaged, Lost, or Rejected Shipments

  • Inspection Upon Arrival: Inspect your package for external damage before completing your ATF Form 4473 transfer. Once the background check is completed and the firearm leaves the FFL dealer, the transfer is final.
  • Failed Background Checks: If you fail your background check or refuse the transfer, the FFL dealer must ship the firearm back to us. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your final order refund.
